Weekends look prettyyyyy different now compared to pre-baby, BUT, I feel like we are in such a good groove now with an 11 month old and I am really enjoying it! Pre-baby weekends involved going to breweries and be-bopping around, late night concerts, and a lot more free time lol. These days, with a baby, we honestly do still do a good amount of stuff but it’s just shifted earlier and it’s great! If you are like a-couple-years-ago-me wondering what the heck life with a baby on a weekend would look like, here’s a snippet of what we did this weekend! In general, I feel like we just play it fast and loose LOL. Scrolling on instagram sometimes makes me feel like we should be more organized/scheduled/planned but that adds more stress to my life so *insert shrug emoji*
Saturday
On Saturdays we usually wake up, get baby up, drink coffee, get ourselves ready, and head to the YMCA! Our Y has child care so we go to the gym, drop the lil girly pop off with the care takers there, and go workout! After the Y we went to Target to do a quick drive-up pick up (love), then went home. Baby went down for a nap and we got ourselves ready for the day. After being home for a few hours, we stopped by Lowe’s to pick out some finishes for the house we’re building, then went to my aunt’s house where baby hung out while us parents went out on a date (which started at like 4 pm LOL)!

Sunday
Sunday was a super chill fall Sunday - sooo fab. We woke up and my husband started making eggs, sausage, and pancakes. Ate that with the lil girl, she went down for a nap, then we all left the house when she woke up! We went on a walk along the river (we love our Baby Jogger City Select), checked out a local festival, stopped by the grocery store, and headed home. She went down for another nap and we did a whole bunch of laundry and Andrew made some chilli! Andrew and I always do a finance/week ahead review on Sundays so we did that as well.
We have been traveling so much this summer so weekends like this are seriously working for me haha. Perfect mix of doing stuff and chilling!
